E-mail: Contact 		Stayed at the Reef Lodge on my way up to Cairns for a couple of nights and found the place to be nice clean and well maintained. Nice common areas and well set up kitchen. In all one of the better hostels in Australia.

E-mail: Contact 		This would have to be the best Townsville backpacker hostel or even the East coasts. I have traveled all the way down the coast and my most enjoyable hostel was the Reef Lodge. centrally located and close to the beautiful "Strand" beach front. "So beautiful at night.

All in all great value for money.

This is the third year that I have stayed at the colouful and beautifully gardened Reeflodge, and will happily do so again. Why? The accommodation is well-priced, clean and safe, and Simone and Dean respond very promptly to any issues regarding the rooms. Likewise, the showers, kitchen and common areas are kept very clean. There are spaces within Reeflodge that allow for communal activities or offer quiet spots to read, doze, or dream. The free Wi-Fi is a welcome addition. Reeflodge is perfectly positioned; walking distance to cafes, pubs, museums, the main shopping district of Townsville, beaches etc. I have not one single complaint to offer, or one noteworthy suggestion for improvement. Perfect!
