Reef Lodge has it all! We are located in the heart of Townsville with only a 10 minute walk from the Transit Centre bus terminal and a 2 minute walk from the Magnetic Island ferry terminal.

Since we took over Reef Lodge, in 2002, we have brought the hostel up from one of the most rundown, to one of the cleanest and best hostels in the area. In fact, we have been awarded a 3.5 Star rating by AAATourism Australia

BUG Review Rated @ four stars **** "Reef Lodge is a beautifully maintained hostel with a laid back atmosphere right in the heart of the city centre. The dorms are air-conditioned, comfortable and clean; bathrooms are spotless with new fittings and hairdryers and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a games room/gym and with a pool table plus a couple of cosy TV lounges. Internet access is available in the courtyard ($5 per hour) and there are laundry facilities. Security is very good and the reception staff are wonderfully kind and helpful."
